You're taking over a business: its digital estate is a black box

A handover audit: what exists, in whose name, what still depends on the seller, and the ordered transfer of everything that has to change hands.

What’s probably happening

The takeover covered the figures, the contracts, the teams, and the digital estate came “with”, without an inventory. Yet it’s riddled with dependencies on the seller: accounts in their name, subscriptions on their card, passwords in their head, a long-standing provider only they know. As long as they answer the phone, all is well. That’s precisely the window in which to act.

What we do

The handover audit: what exists and what runs, in whose name, with which suppliers, at what cost, with what dependencies on the seller or on third parties. Then the transfer of ownership, in order: accounts, domains, hosting, subscriptions, moved to the name of the new entity, without interrupting trading. And the capture of knowledge while it’s available: a few hours of conversation with the seller are worth weeks of reverse engineering later.

What you get

A full inventory of what you actually bought, everything in your name, the dependencies on the seller closed one by one, and the documentation that makes the company yours in fact as well as on the deed of sale.

What comes next, if you want it

The work described here stands on its own, with no commitment to what follows. The area below covers it, and the rest if you decide to.

Describe your situation in a few lines, however it comes to you. You get our first take, in writing: what we understand, what we would do, where to start. Not an automatic acknowledgement, and no sales follow-up: an answer you can use, even if it stops there.
