Your site or your email has been hacked
Take back control, clean up, secure, in that order. Then understand where it got in, and close that door.
What’s probably happening
A site showing something other than yours, a mailbox sending messages without your knowledge, customers receiving strange requests “from you”. And often, the discovery that access was lying around everywhere, that the updates were old, or that one password was used for everything. The attacker generally has nothing personal against you: common attacks sweep the web looking for known holes left unpatched.
What we do
First take back control: change the access, cut off what’s leaking, put a sound version back online, from a verified backup where one exists, rebuilding where it doesn’t. Then understand the way in and close it: an update, a setting, an access right. Finally secure it over time: individual access, tested backups, monitoring.
One limit stated plainly: depending on the severity, some parts (filing a complaint, deep forensic analysis, notification obligations) belong to other parties, and we point you to them without delay.
What you get
A site and an email system back under control, the way in closed, access rebuilt in your name, and a report: what happened, what was done, what protects you now. Monitoring can follow on a subscription, so that the next alert is a message from us, not a call from a customer.
What comes next, if you want it
The work described here stands on its own, with no commitment to what follows. The area below covers it, and the rest if you decide to.
Tell us about your project, or your problem.
Describe your situation in a few lines, however it comes to you. You get our first take, in writing: what we understand, what we would do, where to start. Not an automatic acknowledgement, and no sales follow-up: an answer you can use, even if it stops there.
